My first visit to Kennedy Falls was a total bushwhack. It was not an easy entry or exit. However, now, thanks to Brian Peterman, there is a trail. After walking approximately .25 mile from the gate at Douglas Falls, you will notice two parallel logs spaced about 3' apart and perpendicular to the trail. Brian has also tagged the trail with blue ribbons. It's very easy to follow, but parts are steep and slippery. I recommend a hiking stick. A rope might come in handy for the final descent. It's about a 10' drop, and while it is possible to get down without a rope, it will be safer with one.
