Spruce Run Falls is pretty nice when it's got some water on it.  It's a little difficult to photograph.  There are lots of trees along the roadside and getting down into the creek may prove hazardous to your health.  The embankments are steep and loose and there was a fair amount of garbage there when I visited.  Being alone, I decided not to try to get into the creek so my photos are pretty lack lustre.

To get there, take WV 20.  About 1.7 miles south of the Temple Street Bridge in Hinton, cross the New River onto WV 3.  Follow the Greenbriar River along WV 3 for 5.5 miles where the road changes to WV 12 at a bridge crossing the river.  Continue another 4.1 miles and turn left on 4-H Camp Road.  There's a little pull off area where you can park about two hundred feet after you turn.  Park and walk down the road a little ways.  It's obvious where the falls are.  Just be careful if you try going down in there.  While you're in the neighborhood, Little Wolf Creek is just back up the road a short way.  Here's a link to directions there.SpruceRun
