Arbuckle Creek can be travelled from either end.  If you're just going for the walk, it doesn't matter where you start, but if you just want to catch the falls or see the creek, follow these directions.  There's a parking area at the top and you just walk down the Rend Trail and then come back up.
You can also pick up the Rend Trail from the designated parking on Thurmond Rd., along Dunloup Creek.  It's pretty obvious and it's not far beyond Dunloup Falls.  It will walk you all the way down to the river, then left down along the river, and left up Arbuckle Creek.  Probably best to have a car at both ends if you're going to hike the whole thing.  Go to the Dunloup Falls page for those directions.

Look at a map first if you have never been in here before.  It can be a bit complicated.
There are a couple other falls in this area.  Shortly after you turn onto Minden Rd. and drive under the overpass, there will be an "alcove" to your left.  You will have to look for this.  It's not real obvious.  There is a place to pull off just before this spot.  During wet times there will be a nice waterfall in there.  This can be seen from the road during winter but during spring/summer when there are leaves on the trees, you will have to look for it.  (37.980531, -81.136684)I'm told there is also a waterfall on an unnamed creek which is the spill from the lake at Ace Adventures.
